- Step 1: Web Design Quote Sheet
Our quote sheet asks all the right questions in order to get you thinking outside of the box with regard to your website. There are probably things that you hadn't thought of that might be important in the design of your website.
- Step 2: Initial Consultation
We include a one hour initial consultation in the price of your website. The consultation is a brainstorming session where we go through the completed worksheet and discuss your needs in depth. During that session we help you to determine who your target market is for the website and we settle on what the features will be.
- Step 3: Proposal
After a solid plan is in place for your website design, we can prepare an accurate proposal for its development.
- Step 4: Contract
If the price is acceptable to you and you are ready to get started, we will prepare our standard
web design contract. The proposal, signed contract along with the deposit as outlined in the agreement will get us started on the initial mockup for your site.
- Step 5: Web Site Content
You will be required to provide us with all textual content and photographs, unless you have hired us for copy writing services. It is a good idea for you to get all your content ready while we are working on your mockup, as we will need it in order to complete the site once the HTML template is created. Please keep in mind that all content is protected by copyright law and it is not legal for you to use "borrowed" text or pictures without first obtaining permission from their rightful owners.
- Step 6: Intial Layout
A initial concept for the design of your web pages is created based on information you gave us in your web design worksheet and initial consultation. You will be given the opportunity to make revisions to the initial layout before we complete the site.
- Step 7: Web Site Completion
Once the site is complete, you will be given the opportunity to go through it and prepare a "punch out" list noting any errors or omissions that need to be corrected. This is not the time to make major changes to navigation or design, this is what step 6 is used for.
- Step 8: Web Site Launch
Once the site is complete and we have received your final approval, we will bill you for the balance due on the project. The final site will be launched and pages will be submitted to search engines. Search Engine Submission services are automatically included in all web design contracts.
